I completed a medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1996, and worked in hospitals Australia-wide gaining experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, general medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, urology, gynaecology, anaesthetics and orthopaedics.
I then spent 2 years in the United Kingdom working in hospitals in the National Health Service, before returning home to complete the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005.
Recognising current therapies were not producing the best outcomes for my patients, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy in 2006 and have since furthered my education in nutritional and environmental medicine (ACNEM), with the aim of providing patients with a complete service and care.
I enjoy general practice using a combination of orthodox and complementary treatments.
