GP with further specialisation in integrative medicine
Dr Nicholas Morgan is a GP with further specialisation in integrative medicine. Nick obtained his Bachelor of Medicine in 2014 from Newcastle University, and was awarded a distinction in the Diploma of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene in Liverpool, UK in 2018.
He since has become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and has gained experience in the public and private hospital sectors in emergency medicine.
Nick is a member of The Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine, and is on track to complete of his ACNEM Fellowship in 2023. Nick is also a Board Member of The Australian Chronic Infectious and Inflammatory Diseases Society, and is a member of the International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness.
Over the last 2 years, Dr Nick has developed a great passion to approach health care in an integrative way;
– utilising herbal, supplemental, dietary and natural solutions to complement pharmaceutical treatments in managing complex health conditions.
– Informed by an evolving evidence base around how our environments, our nutrition and our lifestyles intersect to influence health.
Nick has a special interest in myalgic encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, gut health (including dysbiosis, leaky gut, and irritable bowel syndrome), bio-identical hormone replacement and allergic diseases.
More recently, Nick has been delving into integrative health approaches to assist in the management of Long Covid.
