As we go through our day we rely heavily on our autonomic nervous system, particularly our central nervous system. From breathing digestion, heart rate and sleep. This controls everything and the amazing thing is, we don’t have to think about it!

The central nervous system is divided into 2 parts. Firstly, there is the Sympathetic Nervous System which is the fight and flight nervous system. Secondly, there is the Parasympathetic Nervous System which is the the rest, digest, heal and reproduce nervous system. Many of you would have heard me in practice, that in order for our body to function at its best, everything has to balance for healing, function and overall health

As a chiropractors we can support the connection between brain and body ensuring you are always in the right nervous system. We ensure neurologically, biochemically and metabolically all nerves are getting messages in and out of the brain. This can also assist with immune system support and ensure all systems are balanced and working symbiotically.

As we adjust more regularly we increase more feedback and signals back to the brain, taking you out of that fight and flight and grounding you back into the rest, digest, heal and reproduce nervous system.
