What is Long Covid?
While many people recover from COVID-19 within a few weeks, some experience a range of persistent symptoms that can significantly impact their daily life. We call this ‘long Covid’, and it can last for a few weeks or even months.
Our health practitioners aim to optimise your recovery through a combination of holistic approaches to treat not only the physical symptoms but also improve your mental and emotional resilience.

Persistent tiredness that’s significantly impacting your daily activities and quality of life.
Difficulty breathing or feeling breathless even during minimal exertion, which may persist long after recovering from COVID-19.
Continued inability to smell or taste normally, even after other symptoms of COVID-19 have resolved.
Reduced strength and endurance in the muscles, leading to difficulty with physical tasks.
Discomfort or pain in the chest area, which can be sharp, stabbing or dull. You may also experience pain, stiffness or discomfort in the joints, affecting your mobility and range of motion.
This depends on the person. Some people have symptoms for a few weeks to months, while others have been known to still suffer from symptoms over 6 months after having COVID-19.
Recent research has shown that, in those who were suffering with long Covid, certain types of proteins were found in their blood. Knowing this, it is easier for us to diagnose.
